About the Warehouse
A little bit of our story, and why we think this is the best comic shop in Waterloo Region.
Our Story
Haganland Comic Book Warehouse started with a simple idea: Kitchener deserved a proper comic shop. Not a gift store that happened to carry a few trades, and not a sterile collectibles boutique. A real, lived-in two-floor warehouse of a shop where the walls are lined floor to ceiling and the back-issue bins in the basement go on forever.
Over the years, we've built a collection that spans decades of comics history. Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, Modern. If it was printed on paper and stapled, we've probably had it pass through our doors. We pride ourselves on fair prices and an honest eye when it comes to grading and valuing books.
Beyond the inventory, what makes this place special is the community. We see the same regulars every Wednesday for new comic day. We help newcomers figure out where to jump into a long-running series. We geek out alongside collectors who just found something rare. That's what keeps us going.
We're proud to hold a 4.6-star rating on Google backed by over 300 reviews from the Kitchener community, and we work every day to deserve it.
What Makes Us Different
The Biggest Back-Issue Selection Around
We stock thousands of back issues spanning every publisher and every era. Whether you need issue #1 or issue #347, there's a good chance it's in a bin with your name on it. We rotate stock regularly, so there's always something new to find.
Fair Prices. No Tricks.
We price books honestly based on actual condition and real market value, not wishful thinking. Our bargain bins are genuinely stuffed with good reads at prices that make sense. We'd rather sell books than sit on them.
Staff Who Actually Know Comics
Our staff are collectors themselves. Ask us anything: runs to start with, what's worth picking up in a series, what a book is worth, or what we'd personally recommend. We're here to help, not to upsell.
